The overview from the 1st of September to the 15th or November gives me a lot of information. In this period, my website got 331 sessions by 201 different users. These 331 sessions caused 948 page views, which means every time somebody looked at my website, he looked at 2.86 of my four pages. I interpret this number very positively because nearly ¾ of my pages were clicked every time somebody came to my website. My average session duration is also very good with 2 minutes and 33 seconds. This show me that the average person read about a post before the page got closed again. My bounce rate is 34.44%, what means that these people visited the page without interacting. Out of my 201 users, 60.7 % were new visitors and 39.3% retuned more than once. I am very happy with this number because my returning visitors stayed longer on the page and more page views.
The blog got 11 comments and my best blog according to Google Analytics was my second, it was the time when I started promoting the blog on Facebook. My demographics are also very interesting for me. In sessions, 45.85% were female and 54.15% were male. The highest age groups are the 25-34 year-olds with 33.5%, followed by 18-24 year olds with 27.5%. I liked my geographic data very much too, the most used language was German with 66%, followed by English with 31% and other languages. The most views were made from Austria (50.45%), followed by the US (40.25%), Finland (2.4%), Germany & Spain (1.5%) and from other countries like Malta, Australia, France, UK and Canada.
The first two countries did not surprise me, but I was surprised that some people in Spain, Finland, Australia, Canada, France and the UK went on my page because I do not really know somebody there. I account this to my Facebook friends because some are on exchange semester or are from these countries. I am really satisfied by this number of countries.
Businessinsider.com, Glassdoor, Time.com and many more were very useful for my posts. I just want to point out Businessinsider.com; they publish a post every 10 minutes about every interesting topic you could imagine. Because of this website, I had the idea to write my post about “the 10 best workplaces in the world,” “The best jobs for people in their 20s” and about apple pay.
I thank you very much for your support this semester, you are the best!
Sincerely,
The Miketer
